Welcome to Mourne Golf Club
Founded in 1946, Mourne Golf Club is one of three clubs in Newcastle and is part of the world-famous golfing campus at Royal County Down. Mourne Golf Club play their competitions on the Championship Links at Royal County Down, while members can also play the Annesley Links course at Royal County Down. The clubhouse has a fascinating history and is ideally situated a stone’s throw away from Murlough beach and just metres from the first tee at Royal County Down.
This year’s Mourne Golf Club Open Week will take place from May 12-16, 2025 with further details to be announced soon. It promises to be another exciting week and a great chance to play the Championship Links at Royal County Down where the 2024 Amgen Irish Open took place.

World Class Golf | Mourne Open Week
Mourne Golf Club Open Week took place from May 12-16, 2025 and was a huge success with members and visitors from all over Ireland arriving in Newcastle to compete on the famous Royal County Down links courses. Open Week was open to male and female amateur golfers with official Golf Ireland handicaps. We thank Royal County Down once more for courtesy of the courses during Open Week.
