Counting Events

RULES FOR MATCH PLAY EVENTS

1.All matches must be completed and a clearly identifiable result entered by 11.00pm on the last day of the round.

2.Both players are responsible for arranging the date and the time of the match.

3.Both players will be scratched from the competition if match is not completed as per Rule 1.

4.If a match has not been arranged by the last date, both players must report to the first tee at 6.00pm on the last day. If, however, a player has not arrived by 6.30pm his opponent must claim the match.

5.Extensions can only be granted by the Match & Handicap Committee. (Application through the Competition Convenor).

6.An extension can only be granted in exceptional circumstances.

Notes:

*Competitions MUST be played as a Three-Ball Minimum

** Entrants MUST meet Handicap Index Qualifying requirements as per Terms of Competition
